Mobile Innovation Center & Mobile Device Lab

Mobile Device Lab Long

The Mobile Innovation Center exists on campus to serve as a hub for users, developers, researchers and technologists to learn, share and discover trends and improve their mobile skill set. Located in the offices of OIT’s Academic Technologies Lab in DeBartolo B003, the MIC is outfitted with technology designed to foster ideas and development around mobile.

To facilitate that development, the Mobile Device Lab was created to remove the barrier of not having proper hardware for R&D, evaluation, testing and comparison purposes. The Lab is designed so that these devices are actively used and The Mobile Device lab features handsets, tablets and laptops running Windows, Chrome OS, iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Kindle and BlackBerry OS.
