On March 21st and 28th, Notre Dame hosted its first Intro to Arduino event at Innovation Park. 50 seats were available and sold out weeks before the event. The result? An awesome time being had by everyone.
Attendees started from the beginning with their very own Arduino starter kit, and worked up through more complex projects, even creating musical light shows!
If you’d like to practice on your own, here are the two slide decks used:
Additionally, there are a small number of Arduino kits remaining for $20 each. If you are interested, please contact Matt Willmore at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Big thanks go to AT&T and SAP for co-sponsoring the event; John Grover of the OIT for leading the first session; Glenn Berden of MakerHive for leading the second session; and our multitude of mentors and volunteers. Thank you to everyone!
We will be doing additional events this summer and in the fall — stay tuned for more information!
