The 2013 Mobile Summit was held Friday, October 11th at Eck Hall of Law and Morris Inn and welcomed over 200 participants to explore the theme, “How can the University achieve its goals with mobile?”. Coach Muffet McGraw Coach Muffet McGraw is the Notre Dame women’s basketball coach and one of the most successful coaches in college basketball with over 700 career wins, only the 13th Division I coach to do so. Coach McGraw has been coaching for 31 years, with the last 26 at Notre Dame. Coach McGraw will speak about how she is using mobile to manage the Lady Irish basketball team as well as communicate with current and potential student athletes.

Senior and Lady Irish forward Natalie Achonwa will be joining Coach McGraw to speak about her experiences as well.
Carol Bothwell Carol Bothwell is Chief Knowledge Officer at Catholic Relief Services, the worldwide humanitarian organization of the Catholic community in the United States. CRS helps hundreds of millions of people across the globe in emergency relief and long-term development planning in the areas of hunger, agriculture, poverty and disease. Ms. Bothwell will be demonstrating CRS’ monitoring and evaluation data systems management pilot, which combines several mobile technologies.

Jason Kunesh
Daniel Ryan is currently Technologist in Residence at GigTank 2013 in Chattanooga. Prior to that, Mr. Ryan was Director of Front-End Development for Obama for America, the organization tasked with re-electing President Obama in 2012.

Jason Kunesh is currently CEO of Public Good Software, a development shop in Chicago focused on civil and public benefit organizations. Prior to that, Mr. Kunesh was Director of User Experience for Obama for America, the organization tasked with re-electing President Obama in 2012.

Mr. Ryan and Mr. Kunesh will be speaking on their use of mobile technologies during the re-election campaign; how they decided when to use native vs responsive Web tools; and how to get users to “climb the ladder of engagement” and go from a Web site visitor to an active supporter.
